‘Worst mistake of my life’: Logan Paul and Nina Agdal on the Traumatic Lead-up to Dillon Danis Fight

Logan Paul expresses regret over his decision to box Dillon Danis.

The fight took place as the co-main event at The Prime Card in October 2023, where Paul won against Danis via disqualification in what is widely considered an unremarkable boxing match.

In his reality show, Paul American, the WWE star discussed the events leading up to the boxing match, particularly Danis`s use of social media to target Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal.

“I was seeking my next significant fight and believed this guy could generate pay-per-view buys, so I chose him as my opponent. It turned out to be the worst decision of my life,” Paul admitted.

“And honestly, if we didn`t continue to talk about him, he would fade into obscurity. We are the ones keeping him relevant. However, we give him attention only to diminish him, and I’m comfortable with that. …

“This individual had no intention of genuinely fighting me, the man he was contracted to fight. His real aim was to provoke my girlfriend.”

Paul states that Danis allegedly photoshopped and shared “over 400 photos” of Agdal, which significantly increased attention towards the fight but also directed considerable negativity towards Agdal.

“It was the most traumatic experience of my life,” Agdal shared. “Being attacked by countless people daily, and feeling driven to consider desperate measures to escape the emotional pain.”

Paul is now preparing for WrestleMania 41, where he is scheduled to face veteran AJ Styles this weekend in Las Vegas.

Prior to his return to wrestling, the new father mentioned feeling apprehensive after witnessing Agdal’s ordeal.

“It genuinely damaged her spirit,” Paul said. “It deeply affected her.”
