The headliner bout between Max Holzer and Deniz Ilbay at OKTAGON 69 will be remembered for its dramatic conclusion, though perhaps not for the reasons initially expected.
Both fighters engaged in a fierce battle for three rounds. However, in the fourth round, Holzer managed to secure a victory over Ilbay, submitting him with a rear-naked choke at 4:14 of the championship round. The event took place on Saturday at Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany.
Following the submission, Holzer directed taunts towards Ilbay. Holzer`s subsequent disrespectful celebration provoked an intense reaction from Ilbay, who then chased Holzer and proceeded to knock him out of the cage. Despite being pushed from the cage, Holzer appeared uninjured and continued his celebration on the floor.

Ilbay`s professional MMA record falls to 8-2, ending his previous three-fight winning streak.
