Canelo officially weighed in at 167.1 lbs, while his opponent, William Scull, came in slightly lighter at 166.1 lbs.
Scull, a Cuban fighter, is defending the IBF title, a belt previously held by Canelo. Canelo aims to reclaim this title to unify the division once more, adding it to his WBA, WBC, and WBO belts, with a potential lucrative showdown against Terence Crawford in September on the horizon.
