Sean Strickland continues his trend of sparring with social media personalities and YouTubers, frequently showcasing his skills against less experienced opponents.
Most recently, the former UFC middleweight champion engaged in a sparring session with content creator Nick Nayersina at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. Nayersina shared a preview clip of the encounter online, and the footage quickly showed the significant disparity in skill levels.
The sparring video depicts Strickland landing a variety of strikes, including punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, on Nayersina. Despite facing the onslaught, Nayersina demonstrated determination by enduring the tough session.
Turning to his professional fighting career, Strickland is focused on recovering ground after losing his middleweight title to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 in January 2024. The popular 185-pound fighter recently secured a victory over Paulo Costa at UFC 301 in June, getting back into the win column.
Strickland originally captured the UFC middleweight championship in September 2023 at UFC 293, pulling off a major upset by dominating then-champion Israel Adesanya across five rounds.
