Jean Silva continues to impress with his finishing skills, even outside the professional cage.
Following his impressive ninja choke submission victory over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 314 in April, which pushed his perfect UFC record to 5-0 with all wins coming by finish, Silva apparently found another opportunity to apply a choke. He recently rendered a fan unconscious during an event in Brazil.
The incident occurred over the weekend when the No. 11-ranked UFC featherweight attended a Muay Thai event. While interacting with attendees and posing for photos, one fan specifically requested that “Lord” Silva choke him. Taking the request literally, Silva applied a rear-naked choke and maintained the pressure until the fan lost consciousness, even after the fan began tapping. Silva reportedly documented the entire episode on his personal YouTube channel.
After releasing the hold, Silva lowered the fan, who quickly regained consciousness. Initially appearing somewhat confused upon standing, the fan soon smiled, laughed, and shared a hug with Silva. One of Silva`s friends reportedly joked with the fan, remarking, “This guy not only is the most aggressive, he’s the most out of it as well.” The encounter ended with shared laughter before Silva continued interacting with other fans present.
