Jayden Eynaud delivered a spectacular knockout at Friday’s Karate Combat event.
The Australian fighter faced former Bellator title challenger Julius Anglickas at Karate Combat 53 in Denver. In the first round, Eynaud landed a powerful spinning backfist that knocked Anglickas unconscious and headfirst to the canvas. Eynaud followed up with a final blow to secure a major victory on short notice.

Following his win, Eynaud gave an expletive-filled speech, calling out former UFC fighter Uriah Hall for a fight. Eynaud now has a 2-0 record in Karate Combat, including a first-round knockout victory over Adam Rosa at Karate Combat 51 in December.
After winning on Dana White’s Contender Series but not getting a UFC contract, Anglickas signed with Bellator. He won his first three fights to earn a light heavyweight title shot, where he was submitted by Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 268 in October 2021. Anglickas then lost his next two fights.
