Montreal, Quebec – UFC 315 is just around the corner, and the headlining fighters, Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena, appear fully prepared for their upcoming clash.

The event is set to take place on Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, featuring a highly anticipated welterweight championship bout between Muhammad and Della Maddalena. On Friday, the two competitors participated in their final faceoff during the ceremonial weigh-ins. Both fighters displayed high energy and seemed eager to step into the octagon.

Following the intense staredown, Muhammad addressed the gathered crowd, stating, “Jack is a dead man walking. Tomorrow, and still, inshallah! You guys are gonna witness greatness, baby!”

Belal Muhammad, who is currently on an impressive 11-fight undefeated streak, is scheduled to make his first defense of the welterweight title this weekend. “Remember the Name” captured the belt with a decisive unanimous decision victory over Leon Edwards at UFC 304. Muhammad was originally slated to defend his title against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310 in December but withdrew due to an injury. Rakhmonov also sustained an injury that prevented him from competing at UFC 315, which subsequently opened the door for Jack Della Maddalena to receive this title opportunity.

The card also features a significant co-main event where women`s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will defend her recently regained title against Manon Fiorot. Shevchenko reclaimed the championship by defeating Alexa Grasso via decision at UFC 306, concluding their two-fight series. Her challenger, Fiorot, boasts a perfect 7-0 record within the UFC and secured her title shot with a victory over Erin Blanchfield in March 2024.
