A highly anticipated fight in the UFC bantamweight division is back on the schedule.
Sources close to the promotion have confirmed that the bout between Ketlen Vieira and Macy Chiasson is now confirmed for UFC Vegas 107, taking place on May 31st at the UFC APEX facility.
Vieira and Chiasson were originally supposed to fight in February at UFC Seattle, but Chiasson had to withdraw due to an injury.
Ketlen Vieira, aged 33, and currently ranked #4 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings for bantamweights, is aiming to recover from a recent decision loss to Kayla Harrison at UFC 307 last October. Before that setback, she had a strong run, winning three out of four fights, including decision victories against former champions Holly Holm and Miesha Tate.
Macy Chiasson is on a winning streak, having finished her last two opponents and won three of her last four fights. Chiasson, ranked #5 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, had a successful 2024, securing wins against Pannie Kianzad and former title challenger Mayra Bueno Silva.
The main event for UFC Vegas 107 will be a flyweight fight between Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber.
