Algeo’s career highlights include a Fight of the Night performance in his UFC debut against Ricardo Lamas, despite losing the decision. He also experienced a successful 4-1 run, which featured a Performance of the Night bonus for his victory over Herbert Burns and another Fight of the Night award for his win against T.J. Brown.
Looking ahead, Algeo plans to continue his involvement in MMA as a coach at his gym, Algeo MMA & Kickboxing, located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He expressed his commitment to guiding the next generation of fighters and sharing his knowledge and experience.
In his farewell message, Algeo thanked the UFC for their support, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic when his gym was deemed non-essential. He also expressed gratitude to his fans, training partners, and family for their unwavering support throughout his career.
