The Ultimate Fighting Championship has parted ways with three athletes. Seung Woo Choi, Diana Belbita, and Istela Nunes are no longer under contract with the organization, as confirmed by sources.
This decision comes after Belbita and Nunes suffered defeats at UFC Vegas 105 on April 5th. Belbita lost to Dione Barbosa, while Nunes was defeated by Loma Lookboonmee.
Belbita, who joined the UFC in 2019 with a 13-4 record, concludes her UFC journey with a 15-10 record. She experienced six losses in eight fights, including her last three. Her UFC victories were decisions against Maria Oliveira and Hannah Goldy.
Nunes, a former title contender in ONE Championship, was removed from the roster after losing all five of her UFC strawweight bouts since October 2021.
Choi, who signed with the UFC in 2019 and competed 11 times, faced notable opponents like Movsar Evloev and Alex Caceres. However, he only secured four wins during his tenure. The South Korean featherweight had a 1-5 record since 2021, most recently suffering a first-round knockout loss to Kevin Vallejos in March.
