UFC might be planning a quick return to Brazil.

Sources at MMA Fighting indicate that the UFC organization is currently developing plans for a Fight Night event to be held in Brazil this October. The specific date being considered is October 11th, and the intended location is Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, though the agreement for this event is not yet finalized.

The promotion`s last visit to the country was in May 2024 for UFC 301, which also took place at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. That event was headlined by Alexandre Pantoja successfully defending his flyweight title against Steve Erceg and drew an attendance of 14,514 fans. UFC 301 also featured the return of Jose Aldo, who competed against Jonathan Martinez in the co-main event.

Since ending its broadcasting agreement with Band TV at the beginning of 2025, UFC has not had a traditional television partner in Brazil. All events are currently streamed exclusively through the company`s own service, UFC Fight Pass, in the region.

In September 2024, UFC CEO Dana White mentioned that the company was working on securing a “big deal” in Brazil that he anticipated announcing relatively soon. However, there have been no subsequent announcements regarding either new television deals or future events in the country following his comments.
