UFC President Dana White is deepening his ties with Meta.
TKO Group Holdings announced on Wednesday a long-term agreement making Meta the “official fan technology partner” of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
According to the announcement, Meta will collaborate with UFC to utilize its technology platforms, services, and products—including Meta AI, Meta Glasses, Meta Quest, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads—to enhance fan engagement with UFC content.
Meta will also become the “Official AI Glasses Partner” and explore innovative uses for its AI glasses at UFC events.
White and Zuckerberg have developed a strong relationship, highlighted by Zuckerberg`s regular attendance at UFC events and White`s appointment to Meta`s board of directors in January.
This business connection is already yielding results, as evidenced by Wednesday`s partnership announcement. White shared on social media that Meta will assist in developing a new fighter ranking system, expected to be launched before the end of 2025.
“We are already collaborating with Meta to create a new fighter ranking system that will be launched later this year,” White stated. “We will also use Meta`s AI glasses to capture UFC content and explore new ways to engage fans. The coming years promise significant advancements for UFC fans.”
Zuckerberg commented, “I am a fan of UFC and excited to collaborate on creating new fan experiences.”
