TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel received total compensation of $18.1 million in 2024, representing a notable drop from his $64.9 million earnings in 2023.
This substantial difference primarily stemmed from stock awards and various bonuses included in his 2023 package, notably a $20 million bonus specifically from the UFC.
For 2024, Emanuel`s pay comprised a $3 million base salary, an annual financial performance bonus exceeding $8.2 million, a qualitative discretionary bonus of $4.29 million, and an annual equity award valued at $2.5 million.
While his 2024 compensation package was lower year-over-year, Emanuel has also received massive payouts from other major business events, including $173.8 million when Endeavor, the talent agency and largest TKO shareholder, went private again, and $308 million in 2021 when he helped lead Endeavor`s initial public offering, much of which was in stock awards.
In contrast to Emanuel, TKO President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro saw his compensation nearly double between 2023 and 2024.
After earning $16.1 million in 2023, Shapiro`s total pay reached $32 million in 2024. The significant rise was largely driven by stock awards valued at over $19 million. His 2024 pay also included a $4 million annual salary and $8.2 million in bonuses separate from stock awards.
Separately, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who joined the TKO board, received over $29 million in stock awards in 2024.
