The UFC has released the official poster for UFC 317, marking the impending start of a new chapter in the lightweight division.
This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place during the annual International Fight Week on June 28 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main event will see former featherweight champion Ilia Topuria move up in weight class to challenge Charles Oliveira for the vacant 155-pound world championship, a belt recently relinquished by Islam Makhachev.
Ilia Topuria aims to capture his second UFC title in a different division, having vacated his featherweight belt earlier this year. Charles Oliveira seeks to reclaim the title and become a two-time champion by spoiling Topuria`s debut in the lightweight ranks.
In the co-main event, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his title against Kai Kara-France.
