Dana White, UFC CEO, delivered on his promise of significant news by revealing two bantamweight title fights for the UFC`s upcoming event in New Jersey.
Announced via social media by White, UFC 316, scheduled for June 7 at the Prudential Center in Newark, will be headlined by a highly anticipated bantamweight championship rematch between Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O`Malley. Their previous encounter at UFC 306 last September saw Dvalishvili win the title from O’Malley by unanimous decision.
The co-main event will feature Julianna Peña, the newly crowned two-time women`s bantamweight champion, making her first title defense against Kayla Harrison.
