Kayla Harrison and Merab Dvalishvili delivered exceptional performances to secure victories in their major bouts at UFC 316 on Saturday evening.
In the night`s main event, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili defeated Sean O’Malley via submission, marking his second win over his rival. Meanwhile, Kayla Harrison showcased a dominant display against Julianna Peña in the co-main event, claiming the women`s bantamweight championship.
As a result of their impressive efforts, both winners were awarded $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses.
No Fight of the Night bonus was presented. Consequently, two additional performance bonuses were distributed. These went to Kevin Holland, who was making his third promotional appearance of 2025, and UFC newcomer Joo Sang Yoo.
Holland demonstrated his grappling expertise at the start of the main card, executing a smooth submission finish against Vicente Luque. This bonus represents Holland`s ninth Performance of the Night award.
Yoo made a remarkable first impression inside the octagon, needing only a single punch to knock out Jeka Saragih. With this win, the South Korean fighter improved his professional record to 9-0.
