The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to electrify Montreal once again, announcing the addition of two thrilling matchups to the upcoming UFC 315 event.

Fight fans can look forward to two compelling light heavyweight clashes at UFC 315. The card will feature a showdown between recent UFC Seattle standouts Modestas Bukauskas and Ion Cutelaba. Additionally, Contender Series prospect Navajo Sterling is slated to face off against Ivan Erslan. These exciting bouts were confirmed on Monday.

UFC 315 is scheduled for May 12 and will take place at the Bell Centre, the renowned home of the Montreal Canadiens NHL team.

Modestas Bukauskas and Ion Cutelaba were quick to commit to their next octagon appearances. Both fighters are coming off impressive first-round finishes at the recent UFC Fight Night event in Seattle. Bukauskas, a former Cage Warriors champion, started the night with a knockout victory over Raffael Cerqueira, while Cutelaba secured a rare submission win against Ibo Aslan.

Navajo Sterling is preparing for his second walk to the octagon, building on the momentum of earning a UFC contract with a knockout win last September. The City Kickboxing representative debuted successfully in the UFC, earning a unanimous decision victory against Tuco Tokkos at UFC Tampa in December. Ivan Erslan is looking to rebound after a loss in his UFC debut, where he suffered a split decision defeat to Ion Cutelaba at UFC Paris this past September.

The main event of UFC 315 will see Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena compete for the welterweight title. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will defend her flyweight championship against Manon Fiorot.
