At UFC 312 in Sydney, three fighters making their Octagon debuts left a lasting impression, each earning a $50,000 bonus for their exceptional performances.

Tallison Teixeira and Quillan Salkilld were awarded Performance of the Night bonuses for their quick finishes, while Kody Steele shared the Fight of the Night honors with Rongzhu for their thrilling preliminary bout.

On the main card, Teixeira made short work of veteran heavyweight Justin Tafa, securing a knockout victory in just 35 seconds. The Brazilian pushed Tafa against the fence and landed a devastating elbow, followed by a flurry of strikes that forced the referee to stop the contest.

Salkilld’s performance was even more impressive, as he dispatched Anshul Jubli in a mere 19 seconds. The Contender Series graduate connected with a powerful right hand early in the fight, which proved to be the only strike needed to secure the victory.

The Fight of the Night award went to Rongzhu and Steele for their action-packed featherweight clash. The two warriors engaged in a back-and-forth battle for the full 15 minutes, with Rongzhu ultimately getting the upper hand. Both fighters were rewarded with bonus checks for their entertaining performances.
