Sources with knowledge of the promotion`s plans have confirmed that Tatsuro Taira and Amir Albazi are scheduled to headline UFC Vegas 108. The event is set to take place on August 2nd at the UFC`s venue.
Taira is returning to competition after experiencing the first professional defeat of his mixed martial arts career. The dynamic 25-year-old suffered a split decision loss to Brandon Royval in a memorable fight at UFC Vegas 98 last October. Before this, Taira had a six-fight winning streak, including impressive finishes over Carlos Hernandez and Alex Perez.
Similarly, Albazi is looking to rebound after his first loss in the UFC, a dominant decision defeat against Brandon Moreno in the main event of UFC Edmonton last November. The 31-year-old was coming off a long break following his split decision victory against Kai Kara-France in June 2023.
