Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champion, has confirmed his intention to fight mandatory challenger William Zepeda next. This decision stands firm despite a modified offer from Turki Alalshikh.
Stevenson, 27, expressed on social media last week that Turki Alalshikh, head of Saudi Arabia`s General Entertainment Authority, had reneged on a previous commitment.
According to Stevenson (23-0, 11 KOs), the initial offer from the influential boxing figure was significantly more attractive than the revised proposal.
