The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced the official fighter lists for its upcoming heavyweight and light heavyweight tournaments. This season will feature notable athletes like Alexandr Romanov, a former UFC ranked contender.
Romanov, who recently became a free agent after a victory at UFC Edmonton in November, will compete in the heavyweight tournament for a grand prize of $500,000.
Joining Romanov in the heavyweight bracket are Valentin Moldavsky, a former interim Bellator champion, Oleg Popov, the 2024 PFL tournament finalist, and veterans Linton Vassell and Tim Johnson. The heavyweight lineup also includes rising competitors Sergey Bilostenniy, Pouya Rahmani, and Abraham Bably.
In the light heavyweight tournament, former Bellator champion Phil Davis will make his PFL debut. He will be joined by past PFL tournament winners Antonio Carlos Junior and Rob Wilkinson, as well as Karl Moore, Marcelo Nunes, Simeon Powell, Karl Albrektsson, and Sullivan Cauley.
Alex Polizzi and Rafael Xavier have been named as alternates for the light heavyweight tournament. Heavyweight alternates were not announced.
The 2025 PFL season is set to begin on April 3rd, with subsequent events on April 11th, April 18th, and May 1st, all taking place at Universal Studios Florida.
