The Professional Fighters League (PFL) community is grieving the loss of a valued staff member following a tragic incident.
Jeff Brady, who worked as an operations manager for PFL, having previously held the same role at Bellator focusing on merchandise and consumer products, passed away on Sunday in Arizona. His death occurred during a remarkable act of bravery: saving the lives of two children who were in danger of drowning in a river.
The league announced the sad news via social media. The details were first shared by Jeff`s twin brother, Greg Brady, through a heartfelt dedication posted on Instagram.
Greg described Jeff as “my twin brother, my best friend, my other half, and now my hero.” He recounted Jeff`s incredible courage in giving his life to save the two young boys from drowning in a place they cherished, emphasizing that Jeff acted without hesitation upon seeing someone in need. Greg highlighted his brother`s selfless and fearless character, noting he always put others first. Expressing the profound pain of losing his twin, Greg also shared immense pride in the man Jeff was and the heroic legacy he leaves behind. He urged others to honor Jeff by living with similar courage and kindness, referring to him as a “Viking Angel.”
News of Brady`s passing prompted a significant outpouring of tributes from across the mixed martial arts world. Numerous fighters from various promotions, including former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, offered their condolences and shared memories.
Tyron Woodley paid tribute, describing Jeff as an “amazing human” and extending his condolences to the family, hoping his legacy would endure.
