UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping continues his acting career, securing a lead role in the upcoming crime thriller `Atlas King`, directed by Nika Agiashvili.
Bisping will star alongside George Finn in `Atlas King`, described as a gritty thriller produced by Storyman Pictures. The film is anticipated to be presented for sales at the Cannes Market, held during the Cannes Film Festival.
The film `Atlas King` will see Bisping portray a former fighter who returns to his old town after years away to bury his friend and resolve past issues. He teams up with his godson (Finn), a local enforcer connected to a criminal organization, and together they plan a risky heist to break free from a ruthless mob boss.
Bisping has previously held notable roles in various projects, including the forthcoming `Red Sonja` adaptation, expected to be released in late 2025.
His acting credits also include appearances in the `Twin Peaks` revival, `XXX: The Return of Xander Cage`, and both `Den of Thieves` movies.
In a statement, Bisping expressed his enthusiasm: “I`m excited to work with Nika and his team. The script captivated me from the very beginning.”
Production for `Atlas King` is scheduled to commence this summer, with filming taking place in downtown Los Angeles.
