UFC fighter Marvin Vettori and his family are experiencing a terrible loss.
On Tuesday, Vettori, a UFC middleweight, announced the passing of his 29-year-old brother, Patrick. Reports indicate Patrick died in an accidental house fire.
Vettori shared a heartfelt message about his brother on social media.
“You were always my number one brother,” Vettori wrote.
“You`ve left a hole in my life that can never be filled, and I will always love you.”
“I don`t think I will ever be the same. You were always my strength, even if I didn`t always say it.”
“You were the smarter one, and you were creating a great future. I can`t believe this has happened.”
“People say good people go to heaven. I hope you are there with Jesus, watching over us with your kindness.”
“I love you, brother. It will be hard without you, but I`m comforted knowing we will be together again someday.”

Many people from the MMA world, like Megan Olivi and Clay Guida, have sent their support to Vettori.
Marvin Vettori is a top UFC middleweight fighter, previously challenging for the title. He recently lost a fight to Roman Dolidze.
