Liam Cameron Accuses Ben Whittaker Of ‘getting Smaller’ At Weigh-in

Sports news » Liam Cameron Accuses Ben Whittaker Of ‘getting Smaller’ At Weigh-in

Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron both successfully made weight and showed off their physiques ahead of their highly anticipated rematch tomorrow night.

The psychological games began earlier today when Whittaker, usually the larger fighter at 175lbs, arrived late for the official weigh-in.

This delay naturally led to speculation about whether `The Surgeon,` who has been unusually quiet in the lead-up to this fight, had difficulty cutting weight.

Regardless, their 10-round light-heavyweight fight promises to be a compelling event, especially after their controversial draw last October.

With both fighters meeting the light-heavyweight limit, their main event at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England, is set to proceed without any issues.

Following their weigh-in, the two boxers engaged in an extended face-off and exchanged words.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Cameron commented, “He’s getting smaller, isn’t he? He was the same in the last fight, getting smaller and smaller.”

Whittaker responded with a light-hearted jab, “That’s cute. I don’t really understand what he’s saying, so he needs some subtitles when he’s talking.”
