Kenzie Morrison, son of the renowned heavyweight boxing champion Tommy Morrison, has officially signed a multi-fight contract with BKFC to compete in bare-knuckle fighting.
The 34-year-old heavyweight boxer brings an impressive record of 22 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws to BKFC, with 20 of his victories achieved by knockout. His past opponents include notable fighters such as Hasim Rahman Jr. and BKFC veteran Sam Shewmaker.
Morrison expressed his enthusiasm about joining the organization, stating, “I’ve had excellent discussions with David Feldman, the BKFC president, over the past few months and I am thrilled to be joining BKFC. The fighters in this organization are among the most skilled in combat sports, and I am eager to compete.”
Continuing his family’s boxing legacy, Kenzie follows in the footsteps of his father Tommy Morrison, who rose to fame in the heavyweight boxing scene in the early 1990s. Tommy Morrison faced legendary boxers like Ray Mercer, George Foreman, Donovan “Razor” Ruddock, and Lennox Lewis during his career.
Kenzie Morrison began his boxing journey at the age of 22 and has since forged a successful professional career.
While his contract with BKFC is confirmed, the date of Morrison’s debut is yet to be announced. He is expected to compete in the heavyweight division, currently headed by champion and UFC veteran Ben Rothwell.
