Joe Rogan Returns to Commentary for UFC 313

Sports news ยป Joe Rogan Returns to Commentary for UFC 313

Joe Rogan will be part of the commentary team for UFC 313 this Saturday, after missing UFC 312 in Australia.

As he usually doesn’t travel outside of North America for fight commentary, UFC adjusts their team for international events. With UFC 313 being held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Rogan is back in his usual role.

He will be joined in the booth by Jon Anik for play-by-play and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier for color commentary.

Megan Olivi will be the on-site reporter for the event, and Din Thomas will provide coaching insights during the broadcast.

UFC 313 is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight where champion Alex Pereira will defend his belt against top contender Magomed Ankalaev. This highly anticipated matchup will see Ankalaev finally get his chance to face Pereira for the title.

The co-main event will feature Justin Gaethje’s return to the Octagon after his last fight in April 2024, where he was knocked out by Max Holloway at UFC 300. Gaethje took time off to recover before scheduling his next fight.

He was initially set to fight Dan Hooker, but Hooker had to withdraw due to a hand injury.

Now, Gaethje will face Rafael Fiziev in a rematch of their previous fight, which Gaethje won by majority decision. Fiziev will be looking for revenge and to bounce back after recovering from a torn ACL that sidelined him for all of 2024.

UFC 313 is scheduled for Saturday night with the main pay-per-view card on ESPN+.
