Joe Rogan is set to rejoin the commentary team for the upcoming UFC 316 event, taking place this Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Rogan, a veteran podcaster and long-standing color commentator, missed UFC 315 when the promotion went to Canada. However, he will return to call the fights alongside play-by-play commentator Jon Anik and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier.

UFC officials confirmed these broadcasting arrangements.

While the main three-person team calls the fights, the expanded broadcast crew will feature boxing notable Teddy Atlas as a lead analyst. Providing further analysis will be recently retired UFC fighter Anthony Smith and Chael Sonnen.

Karyn Bryant will handle reporting from inside the arena, and Din Thomas will act as a coach, offering insights and analysis during the broadcast.

UFC 316`s main event features two bantamweight title bouts. Merab Dvalishvili defends his belt for the second time against Sean O’Malley, the fighter he previously defeated to claim the title. This marks O`Malley`s first fight since his loss to Dvalishvili last September.

In the co-main event, Julianna Pena will have her first defense of the women`s bantamweight title against two-time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison. Harrison holds a 2-0 UFC record, including a decisive win over former champion Holly Holm at UFC 300.
