Jessica Borga has made history by becoming the first-ever BKFC women`s featherweight champion. In a breathtaking fight against Hannah Rankin on Saturday afternoon, Borga delivered a knockout blow just 32 seconds into the very first round.
The match began with intense action as both fighters immediately launched powerful strikes. Borga quickly found her rhythm, landing more impactful punches than her opponent.
As Rankin pressed forward, Borga unleashed a devastating punch that instantly floored Rankin, sending her face-first to the canvas. The referee, seeing Rankin was clearly unconscious, immediately stopped the fight without a count.
“I am Jessica Borga, the one and only, and I am only getting more dangerous. I am ready for anyone, bring them on!” Borga exclaimed after her victory. “I’m here to stay!”
Borga now joins the ranks of BKFC women`s champions alongside Christine Ferea, who holds the flyweight title, and Britain Hart, the strawweight champion who recently defended her title against Tai Emery on Friday.
This victory marks Borga`s third professional bare-knuckle fight, and all three wins have come by way of knockout, solidifying her reputation as a formidable force in the division.
