Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade is scheduled to compete back in the 115-pound strawweight division. She is set to face Loopy Godinez on August 16th as part of the UFC 319 pay-per-view event. The event will be held at the United Center in Chicago.

The UFC 319 card is expected to be headlined by the middleweight championship bout between current titleholder Dricus Du Plessis and the undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev.
Andrade, holding a professional mixed martial arts record of 26 wins and 14 losses, will be looking to bounce back after suffering two consecutive defeats in the flyweight division against Natalia Silva and Jasmine Jasudavicius. Prior to those setbacks, Andrade had secured back-to-back victories in the strawweight class, including a knockout win over Mackenzie Dern and a decision victory against Marina Rodriguez.
Godinez, with a record of 13 wins and 5 losses, recently secured a decision win against Julia Polastri in March. This win followed consecutive losses to Mackenzie Dern and Virna Jandiroba. The former LFA champion has compiled an 8-5 record inside the UFC since making her debut in 2021. Her notable wins in the promotion include victories over fighters such as Tabatha Ricci and Cynthia Calvillo.
