The two heavyweights are scheduled to clash for the British title as part of the Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic event. At a press conference in Manchester, England on Thursday, Tshikeva, also known as Jeamie TKV, and Adeleye engaged in a tense verbal exchange.
As the two boxers traded words, TKV suddenly lost his composure and flipped the table in front of him, prompting security to intervene and keep them separated.
This dramatic outburst, while intense, did not escalate into physical violence. However, the heated discussion continued as they left the stage. Following the press conference, the fighters did not participate in the customary face-off photo opportunity.
Adeleye, holding a record of 13 wins and 1 loss, is aiming to add another title to his collection. TKV, with a record of 8 wins and 1 loss, also has his sights set on more accolades after securing an IBO belt in February by defeating Michael Webster.
