Jake Paul is now recognized among the world`s top cruiserweight boxers. He has officially been placed at the No. 14 spot in the World Boxing Association`s (WBA) most recent rankings for the division.
This significant step follows Paul`s recent successful performances in the ring, bringing “The Problem Child`s” professional record to 12 wins and just 1 loss. His sole defeat came in a split decision against Tommy Fury in February 2023.
Since that initial setback, Paul has achieved six consecutive victories. His impressive list of recent opponents includes a unanimous decision win over former UFC star Nate Diaz, first-round knockout victories against Andre August and Ryan Bourland, a sixth-round TKO stoppage of BKFC competitor Mike Perry, and a notable unanimous decision triumph over boxing legend Mike Tyson in a highly-anticipated and widely-viewed bout.
Securing a position in the WBA rankings marks important progress towards Paul`s stated ambition of challenging for a world championship title in boxing.
