Hughie Fury Signs Multi-Fight Deal, Sets Sights on Top Heavyweights

Former world title contender Hughie Fury has inked a multi-fight promotional agreement with GBM Sports, signaling his intent to challenge the division’s elite fighters. The 30-year-old British heavyweight, who boasts a record of 29-3 (16 KOs), is eager to make his mark in the coming months.

After a period of inactivity, Fury returned to the ring last year with three victories against lesser-known opponents. Now, with his new deal in place, he is scheduled to fight on April 4th at York Hall in London, with another bout planned for May.

Fury’s career has seen its share of ups and downs since his world title shot against Joseph Parker in 2017. While he captured the British championship by defeating Sam Sexton, he also suffered losses to Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin. His most notable wins have come against aging veterans Christian Hammer and Mariusz Wach.

Despite these setbacks, Fury remains confident in his abilities and is eager to prove himself against top-tier competition. “I’ve been consistently training in the gym, and I’m coming for all these so-called top heavyweights soon,” Fury stated. “They can’t avoid me much longer, and I’m going to disrupt their plans. I’ll be active this year, and I’m ready to face anyone who’s willing to step up.”

As Fury prepares for his upcoming fights, his father and trainer, Peter Fury, will play a crucial role in guiding his son’s career resurgence. With renewed determination and a fresh promotional backing, Hughie Fury aims to make a significant impact in the heavyweight division and work his way back into world title contention.
