Edmen Shahbazyan Delivers Devastating First-Round Knockout at UFC Vegas 102
Edmen Shahbazyan continues to showcase his formidable early-fight skills in the Octagon. At UFC Vegas 102, “The Golden Boy” added another impressive first-round finish to his record, swiftly dispatching Dylan Budka in just 95 seconds.
The calculated Shahbazyan landed a powerful right hand that sent Budka crashing to the canvas. From there, the knockout was inevitable, with referee Chris Tognoni quickly intervening to halt the contest.
Budka, who entered the fight with a 0-2 UFC record, struggled to close the distance effectively against Shahbazyan. Once the opportunity presented itself, Shahbazyan capitalized without hesitation, securing the knockout in dramatic fashion.
This victory improves Shahbazyan’s UFC record to 7-5, with his last six fights alternating between wins and losses. Notably, all of these bouts have ended before reaching the judges’ scorecards. Five of Shahbazyan’s seven UFC victories have now occurred within the first round, further cementing his reputation as a dangerous early-round fighter.
