Eddie Hearn, promoter for Matchroom Boxing, has stated that the next mandatory challenger for O`Shaquie Foster`s WBC super-featherweight title will soon be determined.

O`Shaquie Foster won the WBC super-featherweight title in 2023 against Rey Vargas, lost it, and then regained it in a rematch against Robson Conceicao. His current record is 23-3 with 12 KOs.

For his next voluntary defense, Stephen Fulton, the WBC featherweight champion, is being considered as a potential opponent. Tom Brown of TGB Promotions has reportedly started discussions with Top Rank, Foster`s promoter, about this fight.

However, Eddie Hearn also mentioned the possibility of a final eliminator for Foster`s title. Eduardo Hernandez, who previously lost to Foster in 2023, is scheduled to fight Mark Magsayo, a former featherweight champion.

Hernandez, despite losing to Foster, put up a strong fight. Magsayo has won three fights since losses to Vargas and Figueroa, which followed his victory over Gary Russell Jr.

Hearn has contacted PBC, Magsayo`s promoter, to finalize the super-featherweight bout between Hernandez and Magsayo, which could serve as a WBC title eliminator.
