Chase DeMoor successfully defended his heavyweight title in a challenging bout, far from being an easy win.

The title defense took place on Friday against Tanner Tolman at Misfits Boxing 21 in Derby, England. While DeMoor ultimately added another knockout victory to his record, he first had to overcome significant difficulties.

Despite being a substantial betting favorite against Tolman, who was making his debut with Misfits Boxing, DeMoor found himself in serious trouble early in the second round. Tolman landed a powerful right hand that sent DeMoor to the canvas, marking the first knockdown of his career.

DeMoor managed to beat the referee`s count and used the following moments to recover. Tolman attempted to capitalize on the momentum, but his aggressive approach backfired. DeMoor was able to turn the tables and score a knockdown against Tolman near the end of the same round.

Tolman also answered the count and survived until the end of the round, but he was no longer in control of the fight. To his credit, Tolman came out aggressively in the third round, but this tactic did not serve him well. DeMoor responded by unleashing a series of heavy right hands to Tolman`s head, decisively ending the contest just over a minute into the third round.
