Combate Global is highlighting its female fighters in their upcoming event.
On March 13th, the promotion will host an all-women’s show called “Combate Female,” featuring six fights. The event will be available to watch live in the evening ET.
The main event is a catchweight fight at 130 pounds, where Maritza Sanchez will face Kate Bacik (5-2), who has previously competed in Invicta FC and Cage Warriors. Sanchez, with a record of 6-1, has spent her entire professional career with Combate Global, while Bacik will be making her debut in the Combate cage.
In the co-main event, atomweights Janet Garcia (3-0) and Nicole Geraldo (6-1) will compete against each other.
“Combate Female” will also mark the MMA debut of Kenia Enriquez, a prominent Mexican boxer. Enriquez, who holds the interim WBC flyweight title and is a former WBO titleholder with a boxing record of 28-1, is looking to make a strong impression in her first MMA fight against England’s Hayley Valentine (5-0).
