The boxing world has eagerly awaited the Chris Eubank Jr. versus Conor Benn fight for years, a rivalry steeped in family history and marked by controversies and heated exchanges. Now, as fight week unfolds, the tension is escalating further. As part of the build-up and celebrations surrounding the event, Eubank Jr. was presented with a specially designed jacket commemorating this deeply personal grudge match.
While Eubank Jr. and Benn are set to clash this weekend at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the unique jacket references a key moment from Eubank Jr.`s recent career: his victory in the rematch against Liam Smith.

This bespoke piece was a collaboration between luxury streetwear brand 1909 and acclaimed designer Antonia Bronze. Reflecting the long gestation of the Eubank-Benn rivalry, the handcrafted 1909 jacket itself took six months to create.
Adding a macabre touch to the garment, over 30 percent of the material is made from the actual blood-stained canvas from the Liam Smith rematch. Expressing his satisfaction with this provocative detail, Eubank Jr. reportedly reacted with: “Is this real blood? That`s incredible. I love jackets, and this one is fantastic.”
Myles Jordan, Creative Director at 1909, commented on the project: “1909 is dedicated to crafting luxury streetwear inspired by the essence of boxing, and this jacket perfectly embodies that. The selection of materials is just as crucial as the design itself, and it was a pleasure to produce something so special for Chris.”

Designer Antonia Bronze shared her inspiration: “Meeting Eubank Sr. on Brighton beach when I was a child left a lasting impression; I thought he was incredibly cool. So, undertaking this project felt like a significant full-circle moment. While it`s quite different from my typical work, I`m always open to exploring new creative avenues and finding fresh ways to tell the stories and celebrate the achievements of athletes.”
