Tension flared dramatically ahead of Misfits Boxing 21 when veteran fighter Chase DeMoor initiated a chaotic scene during the pre-fight press conference.

The press conference, held on Wednesday in Derby, England, featured every fighter scheduled to compete. DeMoor, who is set to face Tank Tolman on Friday, directed his aggression towards a past opponent, Tempo Arts—who previously defeated DeMoor—as well as fighter Godson.

The situation quickly escalated. While Tempo Arts was speaking, DeMoor threw a water bottle directly into his face. Arts immediately stood up and approached DeMoor, prompting DeMoor to flip over a nearby table. As security personnel attempted to intervene and separate the fighters, Godson became physically involved, placing his hand around DeMoor`s throat. Security ultimately managed to remove DeMoor from the stage, allowing the press conference to eventually resume.

Tempo Arts and Godson are both scheduled to participate in a four-man heavyweight survivor tag team match on the card, alongside Big Tobz and Curtis Pritchard.

Since suffering a loss to Tempo Arts in October 2023, DeMoor has gone on a winning streak, securing five consecutive victories, including three wins in professional boxing bouts.

The Misfits Boxing 21 event this Friday is headlined by a highly anticipated middleweight contest between former UFC fighters Darren Till and Darren Stewart.
