Britain Hart vs. Tai Emery Set for BKFC Dubai Title Clash

Sports news » Britain Hart vs. Tai Emery Set for BKFC Dubai Title Clash

The upcoming title defense for Britain Hart will be against the internet-famous Tai Emery.

The current BKFC strawweight champion, Hart, is set to face Emery as the co-main event on Day 1 of BKFC Dubai, happening on April 4th at the Dubai Tennis Stadium. This fight marks Hart’s fourth attempt to defend her 115-pound title, while Emery will be competing for her first championship in the division.

Hart has become a prominent figure in BKFC, securing the strawweight title in 2022 with a victory over Charisa Sigala and successfully defending it against Taylor Starling, Melanie Shah, and Jenny Savage. She boasts a five-fight winning streak in BKFC, and her record includes wins against well-known fighters like Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings.

Emery, despite having only two BKFC fights under her belt, has attracted significant attention. She initially gained notoriety after celebrating a win against Rung-Arun Khunchai at a BKFC Thailand event in a memorable fashion. Although she lost her subsequent fight against Chisakan Ariphipat, she once again made headlines for breaking Charisa Sigala’s nose in a bare-knuckle match at a RIZIN event in Japan in July 2024.

BKFC Dubai is a two-day event scheduled for April 4th and April 5th. Day 1 will feature a main event between welterweight champion Austin Trout and Carlos Trinidad, while Day 2 will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between champion Kai Stewart and Tommy Strydom.
