Following his initial professional loss to Reinier de Ridder via a knee strike at UFC Des Moines, Bo Nickal has adopted a less forgiving stance towards his detractors.
Initially, Nickal appeared humble and introspective after the defeat, acknowledging he wasn`t fully prepared and stating on “The Ariel Helwani Show” that he felt fine and would “pray” for those criticizing him.
However, in a video subsequently removed from his YouTube channel, Nickal addressed the critics with a starkly different and profane message.
He expressed his view on the negative comments, saying, “It’s interesting, of course… there’s a lot of positive and a lot of negative. All the negative, to me, I look at that and all I say is like, suck my d*ck.”
Nickal asserted that despite the current criticism, those same people would “come crawling back” when he becomes world champion, at which point he intends to “spit right in [their] face.”
Prior to this loss, Nickal had an impressive 7-0 professional record, including four wins in the UFC, with his most recent victory being a decision over Paul Craig before facing de Ridder.
He emphasized that he possesses a detailed memory (“the memory of an elephant”) for all the negative remarks from fans and media.
He warned that when these same individuals later seek interviews, he will remember their past negativity and treat them with similar disdain, perhaps even “loogie right between the eyes.”
