Alexander Volkanovski is set to compete at UFC 314 in what could be one of the final fights of his impressive career, and it appears he is considering future career options.

This Saturday, Volkanovski will face Diego Lopes for the vacant featherweight title, aiming to become a two-time champion. Leading up to this main event, the Australian star released a comedy skit where he jokingly reveals a secret life as a successful musician and producer.

Watch the entertaining video below.

Volkanovski previously created popular sketches where he played an aging fighter, mocking critics who suggested he was past his prime. Despite the “Old Man Volk” persona losing his featherweight title to Ilia Topuria at UFC 298, Volkanovski continued to use the character.

In his latest skit, Volkanovski takes viewers on a musical journey, parodying various genres – he clarified at the UFC 314 media day that he did not perform the vocals himself – ranging from power pop and grunge to Eurovision-style music, hair metal, classic country, and more. The skit also features clever references to Nirvana and The Beatles, with Volkanovski humorously compared to music legend Paul McCartney.

Volkanovski also expresses his excitement about pursuing his 27th victory and joining the “27 Club,” a darkly humorous reference to famous musicians who tragically passed away at the age of 27.

This new skit follows Volkanovski recently demonstrating his vocal abilities at a UFC 314 press conference, where he spontaneously sang “Fall for You” by Secondhand Serenade in tribute to Lopes.
